Comment: I may be making a misinquiry, but hope, at the very least, to be pointed in the right direction. I like in the Montebello condominium and recently attempted a paint job upgrade to the place, beginning with the ceiling. (it's white didn't match ours.) Never having encountered popcorn ceiling before, we didn't know that the paint would effectively remove the material which began peeling off due just to gravity. Furthering our error, we removed the rest in this one consecutive section (350 rough square feet) of ceiling (there's popcorn intact in other rooms we did not start yet.) Upon doing this we discovered that the texture of the material UNDER (or I suppose, above) the popcorn is not meant for human eyes (small holes, patchy work, grooves, rough spots, etc)... cleaning the ceiling (of dust) and starting a coat of paint didn't do anything to improve what we were left with... SO... at this point, I'm looking for advice and estimates on either restoring a fresh installation of popco
