"Response was very quickly after first contact. Estimate was reasonable. Alex was able to move the job to an earlier than scheduled date. His team, Ihor and Vova were a delight to work with. They took care of all the details, did the job in 5 days, less than expected. Alex call everyday to inform us what was to be expected for the day. We are very pleased with our new painted cabinets."

Cabinet Refacing, Cabinet Refinishing
"We wanted to have our cabinets refaced in Shaker style but had been told by another contractor that there was no way to update the raised panel cabinet boxes to match. Jimmy disagreed and had creative ideas for a seamless design.. He seemed genuinely enthusiastic about the opportunity and gave us what we felt was a very fair price. Due to COVID our project lasted several months because we couldn’t get appliances delivered. Jimmy was patient and helpful throughout the process and offered a suggestion for where I was finally able to find something in stock. I also want to say that the strength of any service provider is dependent on the people who come into your home. All the guys who did the work were great and Manual as the lead was a pleasure to work with. His work ethic was a blessing and he always was courteous and pleasant. Anytime I had a concern or question both Jimmy and Manual were clearly committed to our complete satisfaction. To be honest, in the beginning I was very concerned about a guarantee for the work. After this experience we are completely confident that if we ever have any issues in the future Jimmy will absolutely make it right. Thank you and we love our new kitchen!"

Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
