Comment: I am looking for a freestanding shelf unit to hold DVDs. The unit will sit on the floor and will be anchored to a wall via a screw. Dimensions will be 44" wide by 29" high by ~12" deep. I would assume that we would be able to fit two shelves. Would like to add some type of simple molding for decoration. I would also like to have a backing on the shelf for aesthetics and anchoring purposes. Most likely would want a birchwood but open to other suggestions. Will need a stain finish. Completion before Christmas is a must.
