| Comment: Coded as "Emergency Service" because it's the master bathroom and we're trying to sell our house. If necessary, we can meet during normal business hours, but it will be difficult to coordinate. We replaced the existing light switches and outlets. As we changed them, we noticed that the light switch had what appeared to be unusual wiring (a short wire running from one switch to the other, but also attached to the wall wiring). We did not replicate this part of the wiring because the new switches were not configured the same as the old (we have the old switches). Now, one switch works (bathroom fan), but the other doesn't (bathroom ligh). Also, the outlet seems to be getting power (testing light lit and electrical check beeps), but does not work when an appliance is plugged in. |
