"Toni, the owner was very easy to get a hold of and communicated beautifully. Before they started if I had a question, I would text him and he would respond typically within five or 10 minutes. The crew of three professional painters arrived on time did a fabulous job at preparing. Covered all the furniture, draperies, rugs, etc. and painted our ceilings . In the past three years, we had our entire exterior painted and separately our interior walls by two other companies. I wish I had found tony earlier!"

"In addition to installing heated tile floors, I also had Justin remove the old tile countertops and replace them with polished quartz. They came out absolutely beautiful. I was most impressed that he was able to replace a double sink counter in an alcove shape in one piece. Its gorgeous and best of all - seamless!"

"First time user of Angi and I'm impressed. JCR reached out immediately to inquire about the details of my job. Great communication from the beginning and very responsive in a timely manner. Their price was slightly higher than one other quote I received, but it was their professionalism and communication that gave me confidence in their company. I was right to chose JCR for my kitchen backsplash project. They found me better pricing on my tile with no mark up. Scheduled the work quickly, showed up on time and completed quality work as promised. Work is guaranteed. They returned a week later to address a small repair and were out the very next day after receiving my call. After having some bad experiences with another contactor, JCR was such a refreshing experience. In and out in two days and left a clean and quality job site. I can't say enough about this husband and wife company. I will definitely be using them again and have already referred a friend. Thank you for such a positive experience."

HomeAdvisor makes it easy to connect with pros near you. You can read reviews, get quotes and book appointments all in one place.
Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
