Comment: I have taken the popcorn off the ceiling. I want to have the ceiling smooth (smoothed with mud and sanded smoothly) for painting. Have a crack in wall in drywall tape to be fixed and smoothed. Might have work also removing popcorn texture in other parts of house. <br />In kitchen and another room, need sheetrock cut and redone to raise the ceiling.
