"I have a low pitch roof. I have had bad results from two previous companies, one composition shingles (water wicked up under them), and one hot tar (layers came apart). This Legacy roof material (80 mil) is good for flat roofs. The work was outstanding. They knew what they were doing, and worked very hard to get it done and done right. I had a problem with a bathroom vent during installation and they fixed it immediately. I dealt with many people at Legacy, including the Director of Sales and Marketing. They were all very knowledgeable and very professional. I had a small problem after the roof was completed, as a small bubble appeared, and they came out and fixed it within several days (it was not an emergency). I did not like the fact that I did not want to blind my neighbors with an all white roof, and therefore had to use 80 mil instead of 60 mil material. On the plus side that extended the warranty slightly. A major feature to me was that there is a 20 year warranty that extends to the next owner when I sell the house. I did not like the estimate, as I felt they did not include in the estimate work that they felt would probably have to be done, and the estimated dollars were therefore low. I feel that they should have given an upper and lower estimate to me. With the estimate I received, I should have added 20%. This 20% also includes sales tax. Overall I feel that they were the best roofing company I have ever worked with, that they provided a quality product, and that they stand behind their work. It was worth any additional cost that might have occurred. "
