"He did good work & was very quick the 1st visit. The 2nd visit however, he was 1 hr 15 min late. I also believe he low-bid the initial estimate over the phone, only to raise it once he came to the house. He also liked to bad-mouth the competition, which I found to be unprofessional. "

Comment: One of the garage door openers has ceased to function. My husband removed the covering to try to better assess what was going wrong: the motor appears fine, it turns over and rotates the gear that it turn rotates another gear that pulls the chain to open the garage door. The issue is that the second gear has been completely shredded and it does not engage the motor gear and thus the chain does not turn. The tension springs are not the problem.
