Comment: I just moved into a rental home. My first energy bill was $300, where before I paid less than $75 usually. The house is 100 years old, and was 'restored'. Windows were replaced with double-paned windows, energy star appliances installed, etc. But the house is freezing in some rooms and a sauna in others. There was an inch gap under the front door, and old weather stripping which didn't close the gaps. The heater is in the attic, and the vents are in the ceiling. The ceilings are very high, and only the top 5 feet get heated, the bottom 5 feet are always cold. FIX THIS. <br />
