| Comment: We have an area in the back of the house that we were going to put a sunken patio in. now that the hole is dug we have decided that we would rather have a deck over top of the area. Footings can be made at the bottom of the hole and run up to where appropriate and the hole backfilled. I have no problem moving the dirt back and compacting it around the footings. the deck would be basic square with steps down from the house to the deck and then maybe 1-3 steps to the ground in the front and the side. <br /> |
