Comment: I'm waiting on the weather, since this an exterior project! The ceiling on the front entrance porch 5 X 10 and the rear patio 12 X 15 is textured and peeling. My intent is to remove the present coating, seal and paint the ceilings. The only reason I would consider resurfacing is if the drywall will show seams and dings from the removal, if just painted.
