Comment: Don't know if Home Owners Insurance covers black mold removal. Moisture is most likely coming from bathroom exaust fans that are terminated out the vented part of the soffit. It's probably exiting and coming right back in the vented soffit. There is no termination kit in the soffit. House built in 1994-1995 and code didn't require a termination kit.
