"Initial phone call with owner made me feel at ease in a stressful situation (furnace stopped working a few days before temps were forecasted to drop into the 10 - 20 range. He explained their approach, process & commitment to fairness & honesty. While this could just be a good sales pitch, it felt sincere & I came to realize they truly stand by those values. They were able to get a tech over to my house that same day, & after only 20 min, the problem was diagnosed (gas valve had died). No upselling, no fear mongering about other what ifs that they could also help with now. Just straight to the point & a plan to return & replace the part the following day. Sure enough, the next morning, a tech was back out to my place with the replacement part. He had it installed & the heat back on in 30 min. Communication was excellent throughout the process, with standard updates via email/text & conversational updates by phone. Top notch company. Would definitely recommend working with them!"

"Such a pleasure to deal with. Prompt service, called him at 9 am and he was here at noon. Leo repaired our boiler/hot water heater. He also changed filters, did annual maintenance and replaced a corroded connection. Heâ s knowledgeable, very fair pricing, and explained everything to us. So glad we found him. "I reached out to Vince after reading through numerous reviews of plumbers and am very happy I gave him a call. I had used another company to do a "service" on my oil boiler that had become very inefficient...$200 later with them telling me it was all fixed, nothing changed. I called Vince, described the symptoms, and he was able to fit me into his schedule the next day. Turns out I needed a new boiler and Vince was able to show me in 5 minutes why (VERY obvious), where as the previous guy had spent two hours accomplishing nothing and taking my money. I took this opportunity to convert to gas and Vince walked me through my options, provided two estimates within 24 hours based on different units, and was able to start work in 2 days. He was clear, great at communicating and responding to questions, and priced very fair. No one wants to hear the fun news of a boiler replacement, but I am glad I got in touch with Vince before I got stuck with no heat in the middle of winter. Vince gave me great advice on how to maintain the new unit, best practices, and things to check up on regularly. He took my calls a week after he was done when I had some follow-up questions for him and backs his work-up for a year after the new install. Overall A+."

"I had no air conditioning during a heat wave. Pete arrived shortly after I called and gave me an estimate. Rick (the owner) came and finalized the arrangements to replace my 37-year-old furnace/air conditioner and hot water heater. Lou and another Rick did a fabulous job. They worked constantly for 7 hours, not even stopping for lunch. They were very professional and considerate of the carpeting, etc. They explained to a total novice the process of registration and warranty. Being a first-time homeowner and a woman, I knew nothing but I've been told it was a very good price for really great service. They are the first ones I'll call if (God forbid) necessary. "Gomez Vision Construction put up a fence for us, tiled our kitchen backsplash, installed a tin ceiling in our kitchen, fixed a cracked plaster ceiling, and installed a bluestone path in the front yard. "Protocol Air gave me an offer. I asked others to match. No one can. So I went with Protocol air. Sure enough, they send two guys the next morning with the furnace and installed it professionally. The workmanship was great. Better yet, Protocol Air offered to help apply for rebate for me for the high efficiency system. I have not see the rebate check yet. Will update when get it."

"My mother's boiler unexpectedly broke down and Home Advisor recommended Challenger Heating & Air. I spoke to the owner Jorge, who was very patient, answering all my questions and concerns. He explained the procedure and the required parts necessary prior to the install. Jorge and his crew, Chris and Christian were very courteous, performed a high quality installation and cleaned the area upon completion. After the system was fired up, Jorge checked all the radiators and made adjustments to ensure proper efficiency. In addition he repaired her toilet water line free of charge. The price was very fair. I would not hesitate to hire Challenger again and highly recommend their company for any HVAC needs. Excellent job!"

"Short version: Professionalism, competency, and integrity is what you can expect from RJK. When our AC stopped working, another company came out to investigate and we were quoted an outrageous temporary repair cost and were advised to replace the whole system. We called RJK and they called back almost immediately. Upon arriving, they advised that a whole system replacement would be unnecessary for starters. But before even doing that, they wanted to have their techs double check that the system was truly in need of any replacement. Turns out the fix was straightforward and within 30 minutes the system was repaired at a fraction of the cost of the original contractor's quoted repair cost and definitely cheaper than a whole new system."

"I urge everyone to take a look at their HVAC/furnace/boiler/ etc. and if you are staring at it, the way I was, screaming WHAT THE HECK, call Kyle. If you are Youtube how to splice wires to install that smart thermostat, stop it, call Kyle. Seriously, just call Kyle. You hear the horror stories, I called for what I thought was $X and the HVAC tech came and now I have a $200X invoice. That is not the case with Kyle. I have been there, do-it-yourself projects exist, but your heating and cooling is not one of them. Do not believe me, call around; then call Kyle, then call Kyle back because you realize he is available, upfront, and transparent. That is what I did. Kyle helped me demystify my heating and cooling system. Now I stare at my HVAC system, knowing what is what, and how I can quickly troubleshoot it and maintain it. What surprised me the most, this is not what Kyle was required to do. He came to help us with something unrelated. Nevertheless, he stayed late, and answered all the questions my wife and I had; we had a lot. It felt like we had a friend over the entire time. Sure enough, that's how it felt when he left. In conclusion, thank you Kyle for being genuinely you; kind, courteous, and professional. Whether you need a repair or want to prevent one down the road, get with Kyle and learn the ins and outs of how to optimize your home's heating and cooling. Schools in session. Thanks again! P.S. "It's always difficult to get someone who is willing to come by to fix those little annoying problems you have, but not Tom. I had 1 leaky faucet and 1 frozen faucet(due to hard water). Tom came explained what needed to be done and I hired him to fix it. Very pleasant to work with. Also cleaned up after all the work was done. I have his card now and will not have to stress when I need a good plumber in the future. No job is too small for Tom!! He will be back in New Year to install a tankless water heater."

"The owner came to my house on a Sunday, no charge, and reviewed the situation with my 25 year old boiler. We had no heat or hot water, and he saw the problem immediately. He did not guarantee success, but he said the unit had a 50/50 chance of being repairable. This meant a lot as other companies just wanted to sell a new furnace. He told me had a Tech with the skill set to fix my issue, and the man he sent delivered big time! The boiler helped by being repairable, but the Tech knew what to do and he even told me before starting it was possible it might not work. I appreciated their transparency. They were not trying to sell me a new furnace for 1000s of bucks. This was an answer to prayer and I would recommend this company 100% They gave me honest appraisals and allowed me to try to fix it before trying to sell me a replacement. BRAVO!!!!!!!!!"
