"LOVE LOVE LOVE the work Encore builders did for our home! My backyard has a hillside that was a total eyesore. The constant rains caused a muddy mess and I decided it was about time for a change. My coworker recommended Oz over at Encore Builders. She was super happy with the company as they did some artificial turf for their home. I called them up and Brandon and Oz came a few days later to quote me. They arrived on time (they gave me an arrival window) and I could instantly see why they had been recommended. They are knowledgeable and I never felt they were pushy. They suggested I do something called a terraced garden where they would add drip irrigation. Now I know Im a homeowner but this was all foreign language to me. They took their time to explain everything and show me photos of similar projects theyâ ve done. The drip irrigation system would slowly water the plants from the soil itself and is apparently much more efficient than sprinklers (as long as it didnâ t require me to water them I was in). They would create the terraced effect by adding cement bricks (you can see in the photos). They said the job would take 1 - 2 days and they quoted me on the spot. I used Yelp and found another local company just to do my due diligence( I wonâ t name names) but they quoted me FOUR TIMES THE PRICE - not two not three but four. Totally ridiculous, they also sent out a super young kid who didnâ t even know what he was talking about and never offered the high tech options Oz and Brandon suggested. It was a done deal. I called Brandon and OZ and within a week the job was done. We even ended up adding some low voltage lights because I was so happy with how everything was coming together I wanted it to be well lit. Im really really happy and now that the weather is nice I can sit outside and look at the pretty plants instead of staring at a brown hillside - thanks guys!!!!"

"The project was managed very smoothly. It was on schedule and super clean. Reza came up with some designs that separated the laundry room completely, Turned my closet into a walk-in, and renovated both bathrooms. Our guest bathroom was half, it didn't have shower. They added a nice bathtub with a shower, turned into a full bathroom. The master bathroom had a standup shower that my husband couldn't fit in and al one sink. They added a nicr bathtub, separate standup shower, his and hers sink. Looks great! Most importantly, my kitchen and living room is now one open space. I love the new layout. We pretty much changed everything in the kitchen. They got rid of all the kitchen cabinets, installed new ones and changed the layout, helped with buying appliances, and of course did the installation as well. With the new layout, they integrated a breakfast bar. Love it! They added mood lights on the top and it looks really good when we host parties. They turned a bedroom into an office. And the space behind the garage is now a storage space with a mini-gym, changed the shade in our backyard sunroof. I'm sure I'm forgetting somethings to mention. But I couldn't be happier with my house. Oh even the color theme is unique and beautiful. Reza has a great eye for designs. My house is a hybrid between modern and bohemian style. The vib is very zen. It defines me very well."

I purchased my home not a long time ago and I wanted to update some parts of it and to make it more functional and useful. "I'm very glad that Ben & his team were available to work on my property! I purchased a 100+ years fixer upper and only had few months to fix it. I tried to find several contractors before closing and found Ben online. He invited me to a house in Santa Clarita that he just finished. I really liked what I saw. A wide open kitchen; the workmanship was terrific and the material selections were better than the model home. Ben has a calm manner and he made me feel that he is the contractor that I can trust. I invited many contractors & subcontractors to inspect the house to get a bid. What I like about Ben is that he gave me an honest assessment. He was the only contractor who inspected the house and right away brought up the concerns about the foundation. He explained that the cracks in the interior & exterior walls were due to the foundation, and unless we fix the foundation first, we might have further issues later (especially with tiling). The old house, as expected, had a bunch of issues in addition to the foundation (some were mentioned in the Seller Home Inspection booklet, but some came as a surprise). The house has mostly plaster walls, as opposed to dry walls. And this, my friend, is tough to work with. Some contractors would just shudder to see a plaster walls. The laundry & bathroom floors got dry rot and had to be replaced. The electrical outlets & switches had no ground so Ben had his team to open the plaster walls & rewire the whole house. (Not to mention adding a subpanel and generous number of electrical outlets to bring it up to code.) I wanted to open the space for the living area. I didn't know how difficult that was, but I just knew I wanted it open. Initially my architect wasn't sure if there was a beam that was long enough for it, so I didn't put much hope. But Ben came to the rescue! He found a beam that was perfect for it, and he could make it invisible so that the Living Area became truly open (at a reasonable price and very fast too!) As other homeowners (I suppose), I had a change of mind few times about one thing and another during the construction. Such as, when I realized installing Gas Washer Dryer would cost me at least 1000$ extra (as opposed to installing an Electric W&D) and it was toward the end of the project, ie less money in the bank left (LOL). But Ben was very understanding and often offered me Change of Orders at his cost to save me money. During the construction I also realized that I really wanted a media box, ie flush box where I can hide all of my modem, router, and cables. Tony's team accommodated it kindly, and now my house is wired with CAT6 Gigabit ethernet (I guess, thanks to ATT, too). I really appreciate how Ben's team always works on my house continuously, 6 days a week, from start to finish. I mean, this is my first major renovation work, but my friends, who have had bad experiences with other contractors, were very impressed at how fast they worked and how they always have people working on the house. Francis was the superintendent for the job, and he worked with Son on most days. Both were very easy to work with. They always did things the right way, neat, and exceeded expectation. They also gave me a lot of good inputs to help me make many decisions on the house & even choose some of the finishes. I am extremely happy that I picked We the people Construction to oversee my project. House renovation is stressful as it is and working with a contractor team that gives you peace of mind is definitely priceless. If you are looking for a Contractor who has passion, has a great heart and cares about his customers, and gets your project done on time and on budget, you should contact Ben.
