Project: Install Brick or Stone Patios, Walks, and Steps
Location: Corrales, NM
Date: 02/12/2012
Comment: Need new floor over tile and concrete patio. The tile is broken in places and the concrete has a crack running through part of it. It has not worsened much over the past twelve years but the tile is cracking. It is a covered patio and has three exterior walls and one wall open to the elements. There are two doorways that open on to the patio and has the current tile trimmed around the step which would likely need to be changed to match the new floor. Am selling my home and this area is quite an eyesore, and hate to leave it up to new buyer as it may just turn them off to the whole house. It is 18' 10" x 15' 4". There is a fireplace chimney that going into this space thereby will make material slightly less. Current material is tile about 1/3 inch thick. I will have to hire this out since I do not have time to do the job and am not handy with these kind of projects. Brick might be a good solution since two large rooms in house have red brick floors.
