Comment: refinish 940 square feet of 1952 original white or red oak narrow plank flooring. The floors are very stable (no squeaking etc.) but some water stains and slight cupping in two areas along with a handful of very minor staining. Also I will need some tie-in/patch work done under a partition wall that is being demolished and in two doorway openings that are being expanded. All three of along the grain (same direction) as the wood planks...as opposed to perpindicular to board direction. There are 4 closets with oak floors that could be used for strategic tie-in where good match is necessary. Also possible tie-in / extendtion of existing living room with room addition of 10'x 15' feet. I'm in escrow now and close end of October. Floors to be done ASAP upon closing.
