Penn Valley Engineering, LLC
Customer Rating:
Project: Analyze a Structural Issue (Structural Engineer)
City: Trenton, NJ
"Greg is knowledgeable, professional and helpful. He looked at each of the areas of my house where I had identified issues, and he suggested that I had issues in a couple of areas that I was not aware of. He was not an alarmist. He said that some of what I was concerned about was OK and required no work. Where he recommended work, he carefully explained what needs to be done. My only negative comment is that it took awhile to get his written report. "

PREPARING FOR YOUR PROJECT

Things to Consider Before You Architects can help you detail exactly what you want, draw up plans and list material specifications. They may also provide oversight for your project while it is in progress. Designers are not licensed or regulated in most states, so it is important to verify their experience and professionalism. In addition to checking out a designer's portfolio, look for design degrees from accredited universities and membership and/or certification from professional organizations. Structural engineers need to be consulted if your project requires any structural changes to the existing building. A structural engineer will provide the required stamped drawings that must be submitted, along with the architectural drawings, to the building department for approval. in Trenton, New Jersey:
