Review from San Francisco, CA - Repair a Bath Exhaust Fan

Appleton Electric
Customer Rating:
Project: Repair a Bath Exhaust Fan
City: San Francisco, CA
"I was prepared to replace my bathroom fans because of the "funny noise" they started to make. (I operated these 2 fans for almost 24/7 for 3.5 years.) Scott Appleton came in and suggested that we take a look at the fans and the fan motors. Once he saw them, he suggested that he should try cleaning them and see if that made a difference. He spent about 2 hours cleaning first one, then the other. The "funny noise" disappeared. While they may not be as quiet as they were 3 years ago, still, very quiet. When I hear a "funny noise" from the fans, Scott will be the first on the list to call! Integrity, honesty, and experience: great!"

"Excellent service -- came and replaced my 20 year old, odd-shaped fan SAME DAY for a great price. Was very nice and cleaned up after the work. I had been putting this off for almost a year, and I would have had the job done sooner if I had known he was available to make it so easy!"

The amount of air a fan moves depends on its construction and placement. Bathroom exhaust fans are desirable in any bathroom, and they are required in bathrooms that have no windows or a window that can't be opened. Bathroom fans should exchange the air in a bathroom completely every five minutes. Installing a whole house fan allows homeowners the advantage of cool breezes and reduced electricity costs. A whole house fan quickly pulls large amounts of fresh cool air from the outside through the house and pushes all the hot air out the attic in minutes. in San Francisco, California:
