We would need the wall and ceiling soundproofed and there is a heat register that runs on the outside wall of the offices which provides heat to all offices. Comment: We moved to a 4 year old home and have two soundproofing needs: <br /> <br />1. Sound proof two walls between three bedrooms. We are having the middle room painted within the next week and just realized that the kids can hear each other and it is distrubting their sleep. Each wall is about 8 feet high and 14 feet long. <br /> <br />2. We have a finished basement with a home theater system. There are surround sound speakers in the ceiling. The ceiling is finished and hung about 1.5-2 feet off of the above floor. From the mechanical room you can see into the soffet area and see the speakers. When the speakers are in use the sound comes through the floor above. We would like to explore approaches to dampen the noise. <br /> <br />We would ideally like to have the bedroom issue resolved this week as we have painters coming to repaint the middel room. We figured we could drill holes in that wall, patch and paint. <br /> <br />Thanks, <br /&
