Comment: We would like to add a 20 X 24 free standing open room onto the back of our home connect to main house by two hall ways. One hall would be a bathroom that would be a walk through from current bedroom window.The second hall would be entered from kitchen door that goes out to the back of the house. Our home was built in 1941 and has a crawl space. I would like for the addition to be no more than one step down from main home but be on a concrete slab. we would like to be paint or stain the slab, no floor covering. We also need the floor in the kitchen to be repaired, we had a water leak some time ago and was told it would be ok, but it is spongey. There is a short wall sperating the small kitchen and dinning room we would liket osee if it can be removed. I currrently use the dinning room as a work space and we would like to combine the kitchen and dinning room into one room and the new addition would be living room/work area.
