"Gutter Kings replaced our wood gutters with seamless aluminum gutters. Overall, they did a good job, but there were some snafus. We hired them not because they were the cheapest but because they said they could do the work within 7 days after signing the contract. When they didn't show up within that period, they told me that the rain in the prior week messed up their schedule. They should have taken that into consideration when telling me when they could do the work. I also had to call them back to fix 2 existing downspouts, which leaked after they did the initial gutter work. Many phone calls and 3 trips later, our gutters work well."

"This is the thing about gutter work: you can't really get an understanding of what is involved until it actually gets underway. I was quoted for replacement of 52 feet of wood gutters. It was clear that some of the gutters and fascia board had to be replaced. It was less clear if all 52 feet needed to be replaced. I had the work done but it turns out that not all 52 feet needed replacement. I am still required to pay the entire amount for 52 feet though the scope of the work was diminished. I will pay my bill. I will, however, the next time ask the question: what happens to my bill if the scope of the work is reduced?"
