Comment: I am removing a wooden deck 20 x 12 with a crawl space underneath and open with no roof and built in porch seating. I intend to remove all support forms and decking and replace with 6x6 columns supporting a flat deck, same design as a house floor with columns upward converging into a shed style roof attached to the existing roof. I guess pier construction for the support and wood framing for outside walls with a header strong enough to support roof and allow sliding glass doors on all sides with two outside doors. This would be a fully closed in porch, with additional deck space approximately 8 feet out from the walls.
