Since it is an hourly rate, be sure to ask up front how many hours the job should take. I assumed it would be 2 or 3 and it ended up being almost 7, the first hour being consultation about all areas of my house. Lots of great advice, but I would have pushed some of that to the end of the day if there was time, in order to save some money."
