"Ken is a very knowledgeable contractor, with the ability to solve problems on the fly and keep the customer "in the loop" along the way. His crew is courteous, hard-working and skilled. The quality of their work is excellent. My only caveat would be that Ken's estimates for our projects were consistently on the low side, and nearly every phase of the job ended up costing significantly more than we planned. Some of this was due to structural issues with our house, but there was also some unrealistic estimating. Bottom line: High-quality work, but not cheap."

Comment: We are considering purchase of a small home an would like some idea of how much it would cost to turn the garage into another room with a woodstove, windows, new door to a porch, hardwood floor and well sealed and insulated. It would might need some kind of heat besides the woodstove, perhaps a gas wall heater would be good enough. It would need additional outlets, too and a ceiling fan with light.
