THEY COMPLETED THE JOB IN TWO DAYS WHICH WAS AMAZING BECAUSE I HAD SHINGLED THE SAME BARNS MYSELF LAST TIME THEY WERE DONE AND IT TOOK ME A LONG TIME TO COMPLETE. THE ROOFS LOOK GREAT AND THEY DID A GOOD JOB ON CLEANUP AFTER. THE RUBBISH DUMPSTER WAS OUT OF THE YARD BEFORE 7 THIS MORNING. GOOD JOB ALL AROUND. THIS A BIG RELEIF TO KNOW THE BARN IS WATERTIGHT FOR THE UPCOMING HAYING SEASON. THEY CAME AND QUOTED THE JOB ON MAY 26TH AND THE ROOF WAS STARTED ON MAY 1ST AND COMPLETED LAST NIGHT ON MAY 2OND. 49 SQUARE IS A LOT OF SHINGLES. THANKS TO ALL CONCERNED ESPECIALLY THE SPIDERMAN LIKE WORKERS. "

"Just completed a kitchen renovation project to expend the kitchen by converting a summer porch into a living area.. We have selected to work with Sturdy after a lengthy selection process. I must admit that although being quite skeptical towards constructors, I was pleasantly surprise from the professional attitude the company's personnel demonstrated throughout the project's duration. Positive Points: They offer a "designer" service. Take it! It provides a visual description and a reference to a written contact. It’s a great tool to eliminate any ambiguities and interpretation of the contract's scope of work. They offer a project manager who is very reasonable and will work with you to find a solution to any issue. The job site manager was very courteous and saved no efforts to accommodate our requests and needs while attempting to mitigate, as much as possible, the effects of living in a construction site. They delivered the project on time and on budget (with the exception of few minor and agreed upon change orders). They went the extra mile to ensure satisfaction from the end results. Points to pay attention to: Thoroughly review the scope of work description in the contract. Each word may cost money. They will try to get you on the "unforeseen" issues. Try to be specific on the number of people you expect to show up each day. Although, as committed, they showed up to the job site every day, it appears that they are somewhat understaffed. Don’t hesitate to remind the crew to maintain a clean and safe work site Conclusion, We got good value for the investment. We would rehire Sturdy for future projects. "
