"The service man did not seem to have enough experience to install a cooktop. He installed 4-prong plug on the cooktop even though the cable coming into cabinet only had 3 wires. He wrapped the foam rubber seal around the edge of the cooktop rather than cutting a section for each side to keep them straight. He was baffled by the cooktop hold-down brackets which could not be installed, but in fairness GE did not mention that they don't recommend brackets for 3 cm granite. We just stopped the project there. He could not install the outlet. An electrician came out later to tell me that it had to be 3 prongs. Mr. Appliance did refund for the cord."
