Comment: Small job - I need a gas pipe of approximately 80 inches removed from an accessible space in home office which used to be a laundry room (was connected to a gas dryer). The pipe is run through the ceiling (which is open right now due to remodeling) and comes down vertically to the floor. I want the pipe to poke through the ceiling 1-2 inches when the ceiling is reinstalled, just in case I ever want to access the gas line again, but I want the 80 inch pipe removed. The pipe should be closed off and checked for leaks.
