Comment: I keep running out of hot water. It started a few months ago and was accompanied by the furnace not responding to colder temperatures and after doing a load of dishes. I changed the batteries and that seemed to help for a while although it has been touch and go. Sometimes the heat wouldn't go on unless I turned it way up. I'm also having issues with the thermostats and their programming. Now the temperature is high enough to not need the furnace but yesterday I ran out of hot water in the middle of my shower. My hot water heater is over 20 years old but my furnace is less than ten and is a high quality furnace. I would like to price a new water heater but also wonder if there is something wrong with the connection or thermostat. Thank you
