Comment: I would like to move my stairs, I need to know how to properly support my roof when removing a load bearing wall (stairs). I will then be able to combine the living room and kitchen, separate with an island and move the washer and dryer downstairs and out of the kitchen. I can do most of the work but need advice and drawings for permits. I also need to remove and replace the steps leading into the front of the house.
