Comment: The remote to the garage door opener (a Touch n' Go 1000a) stopped working. I have tried universals from Lowe's, but none of them have pins that work the same way my remote does. The consensus is that the opener is really old and I'm not going to find a replacement. I bought the house in 1993 and it was there then and no paperwork to show when it was installed. I think it's probably time to replace the whole opener thing. Do you do that? You have previously replaced the broken springs and cables on this system in May, 2010.
