Comment: We moved in to a new home in sept 2011. The yard is only 30 feet deep then into a steep drop off onto a creek. We own about 15-20 feet (ending before the creek) and 100 feet wide. Wondering if we can afford to build a basic retaining wall to regain some of our yard. The slope is overgrown with vegetation right now but I presume it is about 10-15 feet deep. I have heard quotes from 6K-40K and have no idea what is correct. The price determines if this is a project we are willing to do.
