Comment: First of all, what is the difference between "simple texture" and "texture" I would like the type of texture where you first skim all of the walls with mud, than wait for it to dry, sand it down, than apply a light texture by hand obviously. I am not sure what that type of texture is called, but it is the style of texture in newly build homes. I also need my ceilings textured as I am currently removing popcorn from the celings. But as I understand, you will not need to skim the ceilings with a first coat. The house is a normal size house with three bedrooms, a small living area, kitchen, 2 bathrooms (one of which is very small), and another room that is converted from the space of a 1 car garage which has been converted to a room.
Comment: Just bought a home on Carey Pl in Gatewood of Oklahoma City. All rooms have different textured walls, some very dramatic and deep. I'd like all textured walls to be smoothed over for a clean look.
