Comment: I would like to install prefinished oak flooring over existing plywood that has been covere with carpet for 20 years. Room size is 13' x 14.5' straight walls, 3 doorways. Comment: I am in the process of buying a co-op that currently has wall to wall carpet Under the carpet it has old broken parque floors. Would like to rip those floors out and replace with regular wood floors. Need estimates for 900 sqft about 4 rooms. Floors may need to be leveled. Also floors need to have some type of cushion to muffle the sound footsteps.
