Comment: Old bathroom exhaust fan light, fan gets short power bursts, but not working. I have purchased a new unit to replace this one, in case the issue cannot be repaired. Original fixture size no longer available, may need slight repair to ceiling to adjust to new unit size.
Comment: Vent in Master Bathroom located in ceiling above toilet and of unknown brand is not functioning at all. I cannot tell if it is teh unit or the electrical connection. If it is the unit, we will need a standard low noise unit replacement and would need advice on proper CFM rate to select
Comment: Replacement exhaust fan motor works but not within the ceiling housing. Motor was checked with another outlet showing the motor was working; a hum in the laundry room (where the bathroom exhaust fan is located) indicates electricity to the ceiling outlet when wall switch is flipped on. Final result is the exhaust fan is not working in the ceiling location.
