Comment: Wanted an estimate on replacing the water line from the street to the water main shutoff valve in the basement. We suspect it is old and clogged as the town could not even shut off the valve completely when we had to replace a leaky water main valve in the house. We want to eventually put in a new retaining wall and figured we should get the pipe replaced first in case you need to dig up the front yard. We are in the budgeting/planning phase and want to get an idea of how much this work would cost and how long it would take. If we can afford it, we would be ready to hire this summer.
