Comment: Shortly after we purchased the home about 2 years ago I used a water jet to clear out a badly backed up main pipe. It has been fine for 2 years. Recently it is fully blocked again. The drains affected are 1. kitchen sink; 2. dishwasher; 3. bathtub in main bathroom. Otherwise our other drains seem to be draining no problem, including: toilets, all bathroom sinks, shower, clothes washer. All these drains seem fine. We don't have a large budget for pipe replacement if that's the recommendation. Right now we just need the drain unclogged, and it would be nice to know WTH is causing this recurring block.
