Comment: I'm planning to put laminate flooring in my dining and kitchen areas. However, there is a 1/4" piece of plywood above the subfloor in the kitchen, with linoleum on top. It was installed it this way so that it would be level with the carpet in the dining room and hallway. I need to remove this 1/4" plywood to have a even area to lay down laminate.
