Comment: Unfortunately, we had an unexpected expense my husband and I weren't expecting.... our dryer vent was installed incorrectly and so our vent cleaners weren't able to clean it out with any of their specialized equipment. Because of the distance of how far the laundry room is to the outside of the house (dryer vent routes above ceiling in kitchen) we are afraid that the problem would happen again even if new dryer vent hoses were installed. Thus we would like to get a quote to build a small laundry room to our rec room upstairs. We should have water piping already going to the new location (as on the other side of the water where the new laundry room would be is a bathroom). The dryer air vent to this new room would have to be let out of roof but would be a straight shot outside. Right now we are thinking of removing the drywall of an existing closet in this rec/bedroom and putting the washer and dryer in that location and then would like a drywall wall to inclose the space with fold
