Comment: I have a small bathroom, 8' x 6'. Walls are plaster with tile. I'd like the floor and walls torn out, Dura-Rock, Hardi-Backer, or drywall installed as appropriate, then tiling to the floor and bathtub surround. I think my tub is iron, and it is only 58" x 29". It's probably easiest to keep and resurface the tub. I'll also be replacing the small vanity and a storage compartment above the bathroom door, as well as the A/C vent.
