Comment: This is a bedroom in the basement. The room is approx 16 x 17 and we used about 23 sheets of drywall to finish the room. We need someone to mud and tape and spray the room. Having a hard time finding someone to call us back. Rest of the house is an orange peel texture so would like to keep that same thing in this room.

Comment: I'm starting to finish my basement and will be installing the drywall myself. I'm looking for someone to putty, sand, and texture everything, so basically do all the drywall finishing work. There would be about 250 linear feet of 8 foot walls and the ceiling would be in the neighborhood of 1200 square feet (that too will be drywall, not a drop ceiling). I'd want just a simple texture on the walls and something simple on the ceiling (not acoustic/popcorn) Something like orange peel would be good. What might the time frame and cost to finish this be?
