Comment: I moved into my current home 2 years ago. I have a large back yard that has a gentle slope from west to east and north to south. My basement doesn't flood, but during heavy rains I do get some seepage between the basement wall and the floor in the northwest corner. I had the gutters replaced and that has helped a lot. I would like to landscape my back yard and create a nice patio area, but want to correct the slope and address any water re-direction first.
