Comment: We are purchasing a home in Kalapana Sea View - First floor is approx 70" off the ground & we would like to build a ramp for my power chair (chair is 24.5" inches wide). I believe with a residential installation we can go up to 2:12 pitch, which would work fine for my chair. We are set to close on the property in the next month or so, so we're not in a big hurry but would like to get a ball-park estimate for budgeting purposes. Depending on the timing of the closing and the sellers moving out, we will possibly be staying in the home March 3-13, but definitely will be spending most of June and part of July. The home is 24 feet deep by 16 feet wide, with another 8 foot x 24 foot lanai on the side, for a total of 24x24 feet. There is a stairway with an adequate size landing in the front and a stairway in the back. Eventually, we will be adding a second story to take advantage of the ocean view, so we would want to plan the ramp accordingly so we can add on. Depend
