Comment: We are wanting to put in a loft room above our dining. The ceilings are currently 14 ft, but above the ceiling is a small attic area- maybe another 4 ft. We would remove the current ceiling, put in a floor, and drywall, etc the attic area. A couple of outlets are needed, but no other work is needed other than already stated. We would use a spiral staircase- I think those could be purchased locally- unless it would be cheaper to build out of wood.

Comment: The home has been added on to twice around an old single wide trailer. The laundry room floor is sagging, possible mildew issues, bathroms not working 100%, no flooring in living room, and A/C inadequate. Basically the middle of the house is trailer containing the kitchen, dinning room, laundry room and extra room and is falling apart. the extra room in a catch all because the only thing holding you up is linolium.
