Mike Beaudoin
Michael J. Beaudoin
Co-Chairman

Prior to founding ServiceMagic in 1998, Michael J. Beaudoin was a member of the founding team of Einstein/Noah Bagel Corp. where he held several positions, including chief corporate development officer, senior vice president of supply chain and vice president and chief financial officer. During his tenure the company grew to 550 retail stores, became the leading bagel retailer in the U.S. and the company went public in 1996.

Before joining Einstein/Noah Bagel Corp., he was a founder of NewLeaf Entertainment Corp., a technology joint venture between Blockbuster Entertainment Group and IBM, and served as the vice president of operations, marketing and finance. During his career, Michael has also worked with Pfingsten Partners, LP, a Deerfield, Ill.-based private equity firm as an associate and limited partner, as well as a corporate finance associate with Drexel Burnham Lambert. He holds an MBA from the University of Chicago and a bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan.
Rodney Rice

Before founding ServiceMagic, Inc. in 1998, Rodney Rice was a member of the founding team of Einstein/Noah Bagel Corp. where he served as vice president of finance and helped take the company public in 1996. Prior to joining Einstein/Noah Bagel Corp., he worked at Merrill Lynch within the Equity Capital Markets Group in the firm's New York office, as well as with the Corporate Finance and Mergers & Acquisitions Groups in the Houston office, specializing in the domestic and South American energy markets.

Rodney has been a featured industry speaker within the local marketing and real estate industries, appearing in venues such as Kelsey's Directory Driven Commerce, StartUp BaseCamp and Inman News' Real Estate Connect Conference. Additionally, in 2004, he was named one of the Denver Business Journal's "40 Under Forty". Rodney holds a BBA in Finance and International Business from the University of Texas.

Craig Smith was appointed Chief Executive Officer of ServiceMagic in January of 2008. A member of the ServiceMagic team since 2000, Craig began his career in strategic financial planning and progressed into his current role as CEO. He previously acted as the vice president of business development where he was charged with overseeing the company's Internet marketing approach and was responsible for consumer acquisitions and cultivating new strategic business partnerships.

Prior to joining ServiceMagic, Craig worked for El Pomar Foundation as a member of a three-person asset management team, controlling over $475 million in assets. El Pomar selected Craig as part of an exclusive management training and professional development program focused on growing the next generation of business and community leaders.

Craig has been a featured industry speaker within the local marketing industry, appearing in venues such as Kelsey's Directory Driven Commerce. He received a bachelor's degree in finance from the University of Colorado.
Ty Kasperbauer

Senior Vice President - Sales and Operations, Service Professional Division

Ty Kasperbauer is responsible for ServiceMagic's Service Professional Network Sales and Operations Departments which include new member acquisition, enrollment services, account management and customer service. He joined ServiceMagic in 2004 and previously held the positions of Director and Vice President of Service Professional Network Operations.

Prior to joining ServiceMagic, Ty worked at Revlon Consumer Products, Inc. for six years, most recently managing a sales and account operations team serving one of the company's key national customers. He received his BA from Miami University (OH) and MS Finance degree from the University of Denver's, Daniels College of Business.
Kirk Schreck

Senior Vice President - Sales

Kirk rejoined ServiceMagic in 2008 as Senior Vice President of Sales and is responsible for new member acquisition for the service professional network. He currently manages more than 500 sales representatives and sales management professionals located in both the Denver and Kansas City offices.

Kirk worked at ServiceMagic from 2000 to 2005 as Vice President of Operations and then Vice President of Sales before joining HealthGrades, Inc. as Senior Vice President of Provider Sales. Prior to his career at ServiceMagic, Kirk was partner and CEO of The Pinnacle Group, working as cofounder of the corporate training organization. He also served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for a DuPont building products distributorship.

Kirk received his bachelor's degree in psychology from Kansas State University.
Ryan Sullivan

Senior Vice President - Technology

Ryan Sullivan began his career with ServiceMagic in 2000 as a web developer and quickly moved up through the company holding several positions, his most recent being the Senior Vice President of Technology. In this role he oversees all technical applications, infrastructure, and third party integrations. Prior to joining ServiceMagic, Ryan worked with Janus Capital Group as manager of content development. He also spent time in Los Angeles working on the technical side of the motion picture industry.
Andy Zurcher

Senior Vice President - Product Management

Andy Zurcher is responsible for ServiceMagic's product offering for consumers and service professionals. This includes the content and functionality of the company's Web sites, as well as the online and offline communications and services provided to ServiceMagic users.

Prior to joining the company in August 1999, Andy worked at Samsonite Corporation where he was responsible for developing and executing the Internet strategy for North America. He received his bachelor's degree in economics and his MBA from the University of Notre Dame, earning Magna Cum Laude honors for both degrees.
Matt Zurcher

Senior Vice President - Operations, Consumer Division

Matt Zurcher joined ServiceMagic in early 2000, holding multiple management positions during his tenure. In his current role as Senior Vice President of Operations, Matt is responsible for ServiceMagic's enrollment and screening process, consumer relations and service professional communications.

Prior to joining ServiceMagic, Matt served in the United States Navy for nearly eight years as a Surface Warfare Officer. Between 1991 and 1996 he was stationed in San Diego where he deployed twice to the Persian Gulf onboard amphibious ships. During his last two years, he was an assistant professor of Naval Science at Villanova University.

He holds an MBA from Villanova University and a bachelor's degree from Swarthmore College in Pennsylvania.
Tom Durant

Vice President - Finance

Tom Durant is responsible for the company's billing and collections group and daily accounting operations. Prior to joining ServiceMagic in June 2002, Tom was Controller at Cornerstone Holdings, a private investment holding company, where he was responsible for all corporate accounting. Before joining Cornerstone Holdings, Tom was Controller at Persona, a technology firm working on Internet privacy concerns, where he was responsible for the development of the accounting function and company wide billing systems.

He gained his initial accounting background at Deloitte and Touche and received his B.S.B. in accounting with honors from the Carlson School of Management, University of Minnesota. Tom is a CPA in Colorado and Minnesota.

Vice President - Financial Planning & Analysis

Matt Harada is responsible for ServiceMagic's financial forecasting and planning as well as the analytical support of ServiceMagic's strategic and operational initiatives. He joined ServiceMagic in 2003 as a financial analyst. Prior to joining ServiceMagic, Matt worked at NetObjects, Inc., a packaged software company. He also worked with Mobius Venture Capital and several early-stage businesses. He received his BA from Brown University and his MBA in finance from the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado.

Vice President - Sales

Matt Hemingway is responsible for the growth of the Service Professional network and leadership of the Kansas City sales organization. Matt joined ServiceMagic in 2006 as Sales Director. He worked as Director of Sales for Market and Online teams for more than two years in the Golden office before being promoted to Vice President of Sales in Kansas City. During his tenure, he has led numerous projects and initiatives that help drive organizational growth and network growth.

Prior to Matt's work at ServiceMagic, he worked as Regional Sales Manager for Qwest Communications as well as Wireless Data Channel Manager for Qwest Wireless. In addition to his work experience in the professional world, Matt is a highly accomplished international athlete. He is a two-time USA National Champion in the high jump, winning numerous national and international honors, culminating with a Silver Medal in the high jump in the 2004 Athens Olympic Games.

Matt received his BA from the University of Arkansas.
John Humphreys

Vice President - Product Management, Consumer Division

John Humphreys is responsible for ServiceMagic's product offering to consumers. In this role, John manages the consumer experience at ServiceMagic, including web site functionality, usability, and email marketing efforts. Having joined ServiceMagic in 2000, John has held multiple positions within the company, previously serving as Director of Product Management.

Prior to joining ServiceMagic, John worked as a Marketing Analyst at Banca Turco Romana in Bucharest, Romania. There he was responsible for launching Romania's first online banking tool. Before that, John served as a Business Development Volunteer for Peace Corps Romania.

John holds an MBA from the University of Notre Dame and a bachelor's degree in Economics from Colorado State University.

Before joining ServiceMagic, John was an integral part of the early strategy and success at multiple divisions of eBay. As head of strategy and business development for eBay Motors since its inception in 1999, he structured, closed, and managed deals with numerous partners critical to the division becoming a $14 billion per year global business, contributing 33% of eBay's total global merchandise sales. John later served as General Manager of Kruse International, a 100-employee subsidiary of eBay Motors, where he executed major structural and strategic changes.

John also managed eBay's Business & Industrial Category, helping make it the fastest growing category at eBay from 2003 to 2005. Prior to eBay, John spent six years at General Electric, graduating from GE's Financial Management program, and working in consulting, finance, and marketing at multiple GE divisions. He also spent two years in investment banking at The Connell Company where he ran international business development.

John received his MBA from The University of Michigan, where he concentrated in Corporate Strategy and Finance. John received his BA from Colgate University, where he graduated with honors after completing a double major in History and English.
Kevin McGlinchey

Vice President - Technology Operations

Kevin McGlinchey is responsible for all aspects of ServiceMagic's technical infrastructure, which includes the Database, Unix, Network, and Windows system administration groups; the Quality Assurance group; and our telephony platform. Kevin has worked for ServiceMagic twice: initially in 2000 - 2001 as Director of Development, and then returning in 2003 to serve as Director of Technical Operations.

Prior to working for ServiceMagic, Kevin spent three years managing the architecture group for a startup unit of GE Capital Residential Connections, charged with building the next generation platform for increasing the efficiency of the residential real estate closing process. He held a similar position at Commonwealth Land Title, focusing on the interactions between the insurer and its nationwide network of agents. Other positions have included technical management and staff positions at several organizations, including a non-profit foundation, local government, and a privately-held wood products sales company.

Kevin holds a BS in Economics from the University of Oregon.

Vice President - Consumer Strategy & Business Development

Andrew Rogers is responsible for ServiceMagic's consumer strategy and business development initiatives. Prior to joining ServiceMagic, Andrew spent five years at Yahoo!, Inc., where he most recently oversaw strategic planning and business analytics for several business units, including Yahoo! Local, Yahoo! Yellow Pages and Yahoo! Maps. Before joining Yahoo!, Andrew served as Vice President of business & strategic development for Walker Digital, founding company of Priceline.com.

Andrew holds a bachelor's degree from Dartmouth College and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
Josh Scott

Vice President - Product Innovation and Development

Josh is responsible for driving product innovation for ServiceMagic. Currently, he spends most of his time working on mobile and social applications, video, and community content development. Prior to joining ServiceMagic, Josh led the product and marketing teams for a number of venture funded start-ups and managed small business buying on eBay, helping it grow into a $4.7B line of business for the company. Prior to eBay, Josh was a consultant at Bain & Company.

Josh received an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley and a BBA from the University of Michigan.
Lee Spiegler

General Counsel

Lee Spiegler joined ServiceMagic in 2004 as its General Counsel. Lee brings extensive experience and expertise in corporate and securities law, focusing on technology companies. Prior to joining ServiceMagic, Lee served as General Counsel for eCollege.com, and ClearVision Laser Centers, both Colorado-based companies. Lee also worked as an associate at Brobeck, Phleger & Harrison, LLP, a top ranked national law firm focused on technology clients, and Ballard, Spahr, Andrews & Ingersoll, LLP, a national law firm.

Lee received his bachelor's degree in economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, and his Juris Doctorate from the University of Colorado.
Todd Tobin

Vice President - Technology Development

Todd Tobin has held several roles since joining ServiceMagic in 2004, including System Architect, Director of Development, and, most recently, Vice President - Technology Development.

In his current role, Todd's team is responsible for all application development for the ServiceMagic.com website and 3rd party integrations, as well as development for ServiceMagic's home grown CRM and support applications. Prior to working at ServiceMagic, Todd held engineering roles at Level 3 Communications, Virtela Communications and American Management Systems.

Todd holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Colorado, Boulder where he studied Information Systems and Finance.
