When do I submit a Ratings & Reviews survey?
When you're ready. Because it's hard for us to know exactly when your job is done, we may ask you to submit your Ratings & Reviews before you're ready. Once your job is complete, you can always visit the ServiceMagic Web site to close your job, and complete your Ratings & Reviews at that time.

About Posting Ratings & Reviews on ServiceMagic

ServiceMagic has a unique policy when it comes to posting reviews. While other sites will let anyone submit a review for any professional or business, only members that have actually worked with the professional are allowed to submit a review. We feel this is an important distinction between ServiceMagic reviews and reviews you might find elsewhere. We actively review all ratings and reviews by our consumer members. We also reserve the right, but not the obligation, to refuse to post or to remove any review if we determine that it contains or features any of the following:

1. Offensive, harmful and/or abusive language.
2. References to illegal activity.
3. Reviews that do not address the goods and services of the business or reviews with no qualitative value (e.g., "work has not started yet").
4. Language that violates the standards of good taste or the standards of our site.
5. Comments concerning a different Service Professional.
6. Information not related to work requested in the service request.
7. Reviews that are or appear to be false.

Additionally, the reviewer must provide permission to ServiceMagic to contact the Service Professional about his or her work request. If a dispute arises between a consumer and professional, the rating submitted may be held in pending status until a resolution is reached.
