About This Gallery

This project started out as a black plastic lamp. Through a process called Verdigris it was transformed into this beautiful piece of art. Bronze paint was applied to the lamp and then treated to create the aged bronze appearance that you see. This process can be used on wood(architecture millwork, trim, cabinets, etc.), terra cotta, plastic, plaster, metal, and sheet rock. Virtually any material. Any piece of decor in your home can be antiquated using this technique.
