A long wooded drive leads to a clearly defined forecourt, where this waterfront residence greets the arriving visitor with a landscaped entrance.
Inside, an archway connects the foyer to the intimate space of the living room and fireplace. The projecting kitchen connects the interior to the ocean bay with large windows.
The challenge of designing this custom residence was a function of the strict zoning setbacks and the desire to preserve the relationship of the original house to the water.
