About This Gallery

For this 200 million dollar film starring Jack Black, we created the Biblical cities of Sodom & Gomorrah on a sand bar just outside of Minden, LA. Even Hollywood veterans were astounded at the size and scope of the project. After constructing this 43 million dollar set, we plastered and then threw various grades of sand at the walls to "pit" and help "age" it giving it them that "thousand year old" look and feel. We spritzed it with water and lightly trowled before adding various tints.
