From left to right- Hail has dented this double wall heat vent. This particular one is still functional, although typically it can compress the cap so as to cause ventilation and condensation problems. This type of vent is used to vent hot vapor from furnaces and water heaters. (Second photo) This is a builder grade lomanco 845 roof vent, which are very prone to hail damage.
