About This Gallery
This house was originally built in 1886 and the old hip roof had collapsed. We had to completely remove the existing roof and replace it. It was decided by the structural engineer that a gable roof would not only be more structural sound but also fit in with the neighborhood. The chimney was also knocked down about 6' and rebuilt up past the new roof line. The siding and soffits were all duplicated to match the original look of the home.
